We're Hiring a Senior Account Executive - Senior Brand Manager

San Diego based creative agency i.d.e.a. has an exciting new opportunity! We’re a fast-paced shop with great clients looking for just the right person to fill our full-time position of Senior Brand Manager (equivalent to a Senior Account Executive).

Have to have:

  • 5-7 years of integrated (multi-discipline) advertising agency experience
  • Solution oriented, professional approach
  • Demonstrated ability to manage various projects and clients on different timelines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfort in presenting to groups
  • Demonstrated, deep understanding of client relationship and project management
  • Real online experience; ability to show case studies or work samples (rich media, PPC, email, SEO and Mobile)
  • Thorough understanding of agency process and procedures
  • Project management software knowledge is a plus (especially Workamajig)
  • Some of the things you will do in this role:
  • Ensure client and agency goals are met on each project
  • Manage client expectations before project commencement
  • Conduct and report ongoing competitive research
  • Analyze, interpret and present the metrics from campaigns
  • Procure new projects and organic client growth to contribute to new agency income
  • Maintain account profitability
  • Prepare estimates, manage budget, issue billings, reconcile budgets and project revenue
  • Provide Strategic and creative client counsel
  • Contribute to the improvement of agency and client procedures
  • Work with Account Planner to define client goals and create unique creative position
  • Contribute to agency and client meetings with insightful industry experience
  • Independently represent i.d.e.a. at client meetings
  • Substantiate agency point of view, estimates, and creative
  • Conduct project “post mortems” that lead to greater efficiencies
